DGBSF announces 690 posts of Medical Officers (Assistant Commandant), Specialist Medical Officers (Deputy Commandant), and Dental Surgeon (Assistant Commandant). All eligible male and female (Indian Citizen) are invited for appointment to group A posts in Central Armed Police Forces (BSF , CRPF , ITBP , SSB , CISF) , NSG , and Assam Rifles , Ministry of Home Affairs

Age Limit :-

Not exceed 30 years as on 14/07/14 for Medical Officers ( AC)

Not exceed 35 years as on 14/07/14 for Specialist Medical Officers (DC)

Not exceed 40 years as on 14/07/14 for Dental Surgeon ( AC)

Age Relaxation:-

SC/ST                    05 Years

OBC                       03 Years

Govt. Servant    05 Years

Other relaxation as per govt. rules

Selection Criteria:-     The Selection of the Candidates based on Interview and Medical Examination.

Educational Qualification:-

For Medical Officers ( AC)  = 

Candidate must possesses recognized medical qualification of allopathic system of Medicines included in the Ist or IInd or Part 2 of third schedule (Other than licentiate qualification) to the MCI act 1956 and also have permanent registration from any state medical council / MCI before announcement.

For Specialist Medical Officers  =

In addition to above candidate must possesses PG  degree / Diploma in concerned specialty mention in Section A or in Section B in Schedule I or equivalent of the Indian Medical Council Act 1956.

For Dental Surgeon

Candidates must possess BDS

Application Fee:-

 50/- for Gen. and OBC Candidates . They have to submit a crossed IPO / Bank Draft / Banker Cheque of Nationalized bank in favour of DDO HQ DG BSF New Delhi – 03  payable at SBI CGO Complex New Delhi along with application form. SC/ST , Females , Ex- Servicemen are exempted for paying any fees.
