HP Police --- Recruitment of 1500 Posts of Constable ---- 2016
1500 Posts of Constable in HP Police Department --- HP Police Department has announced notification on 10/02/2016 for the 1500 Constable posts of Himachal Pradesh Police Department (1200 male constable + 300 Female constable). Candidates should be registered in any employment exchange of HP and should be bonafide himachali. Candidates appearing in +2 are also eligible to apply for these posts of constable. Candidates can apply on the prescribed application format on or before 15/03/2016. Initially they are recruited in the pay scale of 5910 -20200 + 1900 grade pay and after 8 years of regular service pay band would be 10300-34800 + 3200 grade pay .

Education Qualification : - Candidates should be +2 and fulfill the entire physical standard. Candidates appearing in +2 class can also apply for this.
Age Limit:- All eligible aspirants age should be between 18 to 23 years for General categories. For SC/ ST / Gorkhas age should be between 18 to 25 years. For Home Home Guards should be between 20 to 28 years.Other relaxations as per HP. govt. rules .
Selection Criteria :- Candidates would be selected on the basis of following Criteria :
Physical standard, PET (Physical efficiency test), Written examination, Personality test, Medical examination etc.
Application Fee :- All eligible candidates have to deposit Rs. 120.00 (General Category) and Rs. 30.00 (SC / ST / OBC / IRDP) in the form of Bank Draft / IPO to be drawn in favour of district superintendent of police concerned.
Important Note : Category once chosen cannot be change under any circumstances .
How to Apply:- All Eligible candidate can send their application in the prescribed format given in www.hppolice.nic.in , fee and 5 latest passport size photograph ( 1 staple with application , 3 for annexure and 1 Spare ) to the office of the concerned district superintendent of police . It should be reached on or before 15-03-2016.
Written Examination : - It should be of 80 Questions , 80 Marks and 1 Hour duration. Question would be from English, Hindi Language, General Awareness, Math’s and Science, Reasoning. Syllabus of paper should be of +2 standards but mathematics should be of 10th standard.
